Fall is such a delicate season. In some respects I pity those of us ( including myself) who love it so dearly; Because in what feels like only minutes the dog days of summer fade to colorful vibrant leaves that with just one gust of a chilly wind are suddenly lost. So anytime I can sneak in sessions during that "prime color time" I feel rejuvenated before the winter comes. For Madeline and Holden this was an extra special treat, because well, it's harvest time in Nebraska... and nothing trumps being in the field. Not even a display of lovely fall colors.

I was so excited to officially meet these two after connecting on our consult call. As an added bonus they asked if they could bring their pupper, which OF COURSE I said yes to! (Bring me ALL the dogs!) It's always fun shooting with couples in a variety of places, and thankfully one of my favorites was bursting with fall color. Looking through their bright beautiful images, believe it or not, the rain was chasing us through our entire session. It wasn't until the end of our shoot it finally caught up with us.

Throughout our session it felt like they didn't even have to speak to be in sync. They so subtly moved from one setting to the next without missing a beat! I hope you'll enjoy a few of my favs from their shoot. Now we let the countdown begin until their wedding next year!

Holden and Madeline-
It was so wonderful spending an evening getting to know you. Thank you for dodging rain drops and what I'm fairly certain was poison ivy. *YIKES* 🙂 Enjoy this special season of your engagement, planning wonderful ways to love and celebrate one another on your special day. I can't wait to share in your joy next year!!
