While extended sessions mean we have lots of time to get creative, it will still be extremely important to balance our time between locations, lighting, your outfits and portrait goals.

Every Senior, and his or her parent(s), are welcome to a free pre-session consult. For some this means an in-person sit down to discuss ideas, while others may just want to give me a loose, flexible list of types of settings or special hobbies they want to include. Whichever you choose I will use this information to carefully choose specific places and details to hit as many preferences as possible.

As part of your statement experience, clients should expect that all images will be finished with my signature post production style.

My portraits take on a highly contrasted, color-rich, timeless look; With bright highlights, dark blacks and colors that pop in all the right places. You’ll find I put my whole heart into carefully balancing light and color to making your best features pop. To some my portraits may even look a bit dream-like!

Your session will be balanced between naturally posed and gently cued candid images.

WILL YOU TRAVEL TO A DESTINATION?

Some session options will require that clients visit me, while others open up the opportunity to visit locations outside my service area.

For clients who live within my service area, and would like to travel to a specific location, it is important to discuss this ahead of time to determine how it will effect your session as a whole.

For locations outside my service area, we will still need to discuss the logistics of how it fits with your session time, as well as added travel costs.

CAN I INCLUDE A PET IN MY PORTRAITS?

Typically the answer to this question is always, YES!” I love meeting your fur-babies. However, please let me know ahead of time if you’re bringing a pet, and note the following requirements:

1) Pets should be on a leash or in a carrier when in the studio. Clients will be responsible for any damages their pet(s) make.

2) Pets MUST be flea and tick treated for any studio access.

3) Pets MUST be potty trained for any studio access.

4) Pet parents should always have a safe place to keep their pets when they’re not part of your portraits. Make sure to have plenty of water on hand for any hot outdoor sessions.
