There’s a million emotions swirling around as you wait for your little one to arrive; Excitement, nervousness, joy, and maybe even a little worry. Which is why I’m here to make this part of welcoming your new baby easy and stress-free.

If we haven’t had an opportunity to work together in the past, or even if we have, I highly recommend a maternity session. Not only will it allow us to get to know each other before baby arrives, but reliving the time you carried your child will be moments you cherish for life.

Noel newborn sessions are very relaxed. Mom and Dad can hang out on the couch and watch as I take time creating timeless and natural sets. Newborn sessions will take approximately 2-3 hours. This longer time frame allows for feeding breaks and getting baby to sleep for a safer, stress-free experience. Based on parent’s selections, the studio will be set up before your arrival with the option to make changes. While most the session will focus on baby, parents may choose to use the first or last 30 to 45 minutes for family and\or siblings.

As a part of my enriched newborn experience, your session investment includes access to my large stash of props, including buckets, beds, baskets, bowls, furs, blankets, wraps, prop outfits, headbands and hats. These are kept on hand to style your shoot, but also to prevent clients from having to purchase pricey, specialty items that will only fit their babe for a short period of time. However, if there is anything you want to include that is personalized, meaningful, or that has a very specific theme, please feel free to bring items along to collaborate!

Maternity sessions will be similar to a standard family session, but with an emphasis on Mommy and your soon-to-be little one. Spouses, and siblings, are always welcome to take part. We’ll capture a variety of images in celebration of this wonderful season of life!

As part of your statement experience, clients should expect that all images will be finished with my signature post production style. My portraits take on a highly contrasted, color-rich, timeless look. To some they may even look a bit dream-like! You’ll find I put my whole heart into carefully balancing color, and making your best features pop.

I’ll be looking to balance our session between posed and gently cued candids that are both fine art worthy, and speak to the emotion of the heart.

While much of my work is created by natural light, the importance of a controlled space and artificial lighting, is certainly not lost on me. We’ll focus on using the studio’s large, diffused lighting to give your portraits a soft natural glow.

While a studio full of props and details are open for use, my newborn portraits take on an elegant, minimalistic look to keep your images fully focused on your teeny tiny new love. Parents can take a deep breath knowing everything needed for their little one is already at the studio; Including wraps, hats, headbands and prop outfits for baby. Plus baskets, buckets, crates, layering fabrics and so much more!

Contract and non-refundable down payment are required to reserve time in the schedule. (Both completed online.) The remaining total will be due the day of your session. Clients are also welcome to make payments while they wait for their little one to arrive.

Newborn DUE DATES should be booked 3 to 9 months in advance. We’ll select a date after baby has arrived, ideally within 2-weeks of delivery.

Maternity sessions are ideal around your 6-8 month of pregnancy, and it’s ideal to book 2-3 months in advance.
