After 17 years capturing tiny details, Noel Photography and Design’s newborn portrait sessions are focused around simplicity, emotion and a truly stress-free experience. Crazy toddler sibling? Been there, done that. Baby barely slept the night before your shoot? So not worried. Come as you are and we’ll go from there.
Everything for baby’s portraits is at the studio. All you need to bring is yourselves, your own outfit(s), and baby’s basic necessities. But I’ll also take the guesswork out of the few things you need to bring by providing all the tips and recommendations for your family.

Maternity portraits allow you to document this season of womanhood with the powerful grace it deserves. Plus, it’s a great way for us to meet before Baby arrives.

The Noel Studio offers the flexibility of natural window light and extra large diffused artificial lights to give your portraits a soft natural glow no matter the circumstance.
As part of your specialized experience, your session includes access to my large stash of buckets, beds, baskets, bowls, furs, blankets, layer fabrics, wraps, newborn prop outfits, headbands and hats. These carefully curated items allow me to style your shoot professionally, and prevent clients from having to purchase pricey specialty items they’ll only use once.
If there is anything you want to include that is personalized, meaningful or themed, please let me know and feel free to bring those items along to collaborate!

THE ELEGANCE OF LIVING COLOR
The most precious gift I can give parents is their sweet babe portrayed in living true-to-life color. To allow them to remember their child’s first moments exactly as they lived it; From the first color of their precious fine hair to the soft blush of their lips.
My portraits embrace a contrasted, color-rich, and timeless look. My whole heart goes into carefully balancing color and light to make their best features pop. My newborn portraits take on an elegant, minimalistic style to keep your images fully focused on your tiny new love. I’ll be looking to balance our session between posed and gently cued candids.
We’ll create images that are both fine art worthy and speak to the emotion of the heart.
As part of your statement experience, clients should expect that all images will be finished with my signature post production style.
The Session
We'll do a walk through of the session plans made from your color preferences and make changes where needed. Before we begin I’ll explain the process, what to expect, and safety procedures.
During the shoot, Mom and Dad are welcome to snack, rest and hang out while I work through each set with your baby. To make our shoot totally stress free, your little one will be leading the session. The longer session allows plenty of time for feeding breaks and getting baby to sleep for a safe relaxed experience. While the shoot will mostly focus on baby, parents may choose to use the first 30 to 45 minutes for family and\or siblings.

- 30 Day online gallery for proofing, delivery and ordering.
- Client’s selection of 35 digital images with print release.
- Optional ordering of additional digital files, prints, products and cards.
*In home sessions offered by request. Set up & travel fees may apply. Alternatively, lifestyle sets are available at the studio.

In home sessions are happily offered to families wanting a more natural lifestyle experience. When visiting client’s homes a flat set up\tear down fee applies to every session, and travel expense will apply to homes more than 15 miles from the studio.
Set up\Tear Down: $150 + tax
Travel: Charged by Mileage -
Parents are encouraged to book their newborn’s DUE DATE, ideally 3+ months in advance.
Contract and non-refundable down payment are required to do so. (Both completed online.) The remaining balance will be due the day of your session. Clients are also welcome to make payments while they wait for their little one to arrive.

Please contact the studio ASAP after baby arrives. We’ll ideally be looking to select a session date within 2-weeks of delivery, unless additional hospital time is required for mom or baby.
